Description
The Wiseco GP Series Piston Kit is engineered for endurance and high RPM applications, making it the racer’s choice for Yamaha YZ80 and YZ85 2-stroke models. Each piston is forged from high-silicon, low-expansion 4032 aluminum alloy for superior strength, reduced weight, and improved heat transfer. The kit features an Electra-Coated dome, ring groove, and pin bore for maximum wear resistance and protection against micro-welding, galling, and detonation. ArmorGlide® skirt coating reduces friction and noise, optimizing horsepower potential. Kit includes piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips.
Note: Crankcase clearance is required. Ceramic composite cylinders will require sleeving or replating. Only Wiseco replacement ring sets can be used with Wiseco pistons. Engineered, forged, and machined in the USA.
Fits Yamaha YZ80 (1993-2001) and YZ85 (2002-2021).
